Warriors, Dreamers, and Tools for the Journey of Life |

The inspiration
for the New Work arrives from various sources that have impacted me deeply.
The Dreaming series by Manda Scott, (www.mandascott.co.uk)
Dreaming the Eagle, Dreaming the Bull, and Dreaming the Hound, about the
warrior queen known as the Boudica in Britain, 32 A.D., is filled with
imagery of Dreamers, Warriors, shields, stones, magic amulets, staffs,
and swords. They place you in the Dreamtime, between this physical reality,
and the other reality of Spirit. The two places overlap, and influence
each other deeply. A fourth book, Dreaming the Serpent Spear, is due out
Jan. 2006.
The Crimson Circle, (www.crimsoncircle.com) has shown how to live with Spirit influencing our view of life. Tools for clarity, focus, and navigation, along with concepts of moving forward fearlessly, living with compassion and synchronicity, expanding our reality, and drawing in power without force, all move through the New Work. My training in DreamWalking also comes from the Crimson Circle.
The third powerful revelation is the book, Maya Cosmos, by David Freidel, Linda Schele, and Joy Parker. The Mayan Sky, the Milky Way, and the movement of sky patterns, create powerful meanings and belief systems, for creation and for daily living on Earth. Cosmological navigation tools, staffs, shields, standards, hold the power to successfully move through the Earthly road, onto the road of Spirit. Spirit forms reality. Warriors We all must be brave, courageous warriors on the Path of Life. Proceeding through our fears, opens new doors of perception and opportunity we could never have imagined. A warrior takes responsibility and ownership, in all they manifest, knowing they always have choice. Dreamers Being a Dreamer in life, connects us to our inner guide, our true spirit, and our heart connection of intuition and feeling. Dreamers work closely with power animals, amulets, talismans, charms, and the elements of wind, smoke, and water to gain clear insight to their reality. They look beyond the surface illusion, to the big picture. They often have a navigational tool encircling their head, like a stargate, or astrolabe, for direct passage in the land of Spirit. We must be both Warrior and Dreamer to successfully navigate life. Tools for the Journey of Life Shields are always a protection for the heart. Spears and helmets set boundaries, allowing us to move forward fearlessly. Balance sticks present a blade for cutting through illusion and a navigational sighting tool, like a stargate or astrolabe, for clarity. Arrows and bows give focus. Amulets and talismans remind us of our dreamer/warrior selves, while brooches are badges of courage. Ancient rituals connect us to warriors of the past, with purification rituals for acting with integrity in our motives, and abundance rituals for our continued success. Paddles and boats keep us going on the river of life. |
